Fellow Riders,
On April 25, 2015 ALR Chapter 58 and Post 58 Fountain Hills, AZ hosted their Second Annual Spring Legion of the Silver Rose Induction Ceremony in scenic Fountain Hills.
Many of you attended, many were volunteers, some were LSR recipients, and some of you were unfortunately, unable to attend this very moving Ceremony honoring our Veterans afflicted with the dreadful consequences of exposure to Agent Orange.
Several AZ ALR Chapters participated and we were also honored to have approximately 25 riders from 3 CA ALR Chapters present to observe and participate in the ceremony. Posts 715, 261, and 255 lead by Rick"Big Rick" Guerrero, Director LSR Cal. Area 5 were here visiting and a pleasure to have as our guests.
The Ceremony kicked off with a motorcade with 14 cars and approximately 80 bikes lead by the AZ Patriot Guard Riders and AZALR Chairman John Moffitt. The motorcade traveled around our unique and beautifully stunning Fountain, then past our Veterans Memorial before returning to Post 58.
Residents, Veterans, and citizens lined the streets to salute our Veterans as the motorcade passed. The ceremony inducted 14
Veterans and included guest speakers Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio (a Post 58 member) and Fountain Hills Mayor LindaKavanagh , live music and food.

Unfortunately, the drone video of the motorcade is unavailable at this time. We will have drone video at next Spring's ceremony for sure.

Post and Chapter 58 are honored to host these Spring Ceremonies. Our "hands on" experience and unique setting allow us to make each event bigger and better. We thank all of those that participated and hope to see all of you at the upcoming LSR Rose Induction Ceremony on October 3, 2015 in Tombstone, AZ.
